Dear Tom,
I've finally settled into my new life here in Bristol and wanted to tell you all about it.
My new home is a small but cosy flat right in the city centre. It's on the top floor, so I get plenty of light and a lovely view over the rooftops. Best of all, I can walk to almost everything, which I absolutely love after years of commuting.
The new job is going really well too. I'm working as a project coordinator for a design company, and although it's busy, the people are friendly and I'm learning something new every day. It honestly feels like the fresh start I needed.
The main reason I'm writing, though, is to invite you to come and stay. There's a spare room with your name on it, and I'd love to show you around the city. The summer would be perfect — just let me know which weekend suits you and I'll sort out the rest.
Hope to see you soon!
Cheers, [Your name]
