Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about a laptop I purchased from your store on 3 April, a Zenbook X14, which has developed a serious fault.
Around two weeks after the purchase, the screen began flickering intermittently and now frequently goes completely black, making the device almost impossible to use. The problem appears to be a hardware fault rather than anything I have caused, as the laptop has been handled with great care.
I have already taken several steps to resolve the issue. I updated all the drivers and even restored the system to its factory settings, as advised on your website, but the fault has persisted.
As the laptop is still well within its warranty period, I would like it to be repaired free of charge or, if that is not possible, replaced with a new unit. I have enclosed a copy of my receipt as proof of purchase.
I look forward to a prompt resolution.
Yours faithfully, [Your name]
